As an adventure-loving, easy-going, hard-working, first-generation American, I offer a unique perspective on how the world works and love learning everything it can teach me. I believe that in order to grow, you need to be challenged to step outside of your comfort zone.

To me, that meant exploring and experiencing groups of people I do not associate with or understand through service and civic engagement. Throughout my college career, I worked with six non-profits. This has not only allowed me to work intimately with clients from all backgrounds and has also allowed me to wear various hats and work inter-departmentally. It also meant entering an unfamiliar office position and learning that it is just as important to take care of myself as much as the clients.

I am constantly being reminded that striving for greatness, having goals, caring for myself, and never losing sight of my intrinsic values are the secrets to success. I am committed to being a student for life - always learning and always growing.
